Group Clinics
What are group clinics?
Group clinics are a way of supporting patients with long-term conditions. They are delivered to patients with similar health issues in a supportive group setting.
There are many benefits to attending a group clinic including:
- More time with a clinician
- Better patient experience
- Increased patient confidence in managing their condition
- Opportunity for patients to support each other
- Improved patient health outcomes
- Reductions in hospital admissions and A&E attendance

When will Group Clinics be available at Albany Surgery?
From March 2026, we will be launching group clinics in a phased approach. If you decline to take part in a Group Clinic, a one-to-one consultation will still be available for you to book through our Annual Review Team.
