Appointments and Telephone Advice

For the attention of all patients

During this current pandemic our appointment system is temporarily changing, we are attempting to handle both urgent and non-urgent advice/care through our same day service. This means we will no longer be able to book routine appointments with our GP’s, you will need to call in on the day for a practitioner call back (Any appointments already booked will still go ahead). Please continue to use eConsult for non-urgent medical advice requests, for either clinical input or administrative requests. Nurse appointments will remain as normal. Please note the extended access service will remain as normal.

Thank you in advance, The Albany Team

Appointments can be booked by telephoning the surgery on 01626 334411, by coming into reception face to face, or by booking via SystmOnline if you are signed up.
Home Visits

If you are too ill to come to the surgery and you require a visit at home, please contact the surgery before 10.00am. The receptionist will need to take brief details of your problem so this can be passed to the duty doctor who will prioritise your visit. It is worth bearing in mind that our well-equipped surgery is by far the best place to diagnose and treat your illness, so if you are mobile please do try to get to the surgery to be seen.

If you wish and are able to wait for the next available appointment for your chosen GP you can pre book. If you feel that a problem can be managed by telephone appointment, then these can also be pre-booked online or by telephoning the surgery.
